WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Jared and I met our freshman year of college at the University of North Texas. A mutual friend of ours had invited us to come out one night to play sand volleyball and that’s where it all started. While making digs in the game we were diggin’ on each other. (Sorry not sorry for the cheesiness) Our love story didn’t really start until about two years into our friendship though. Most people know this, but for those of you who don’t... Around the two year mark Jared and I dated very, VERY briefly. It was about a month in where we both decided maybeeee we should just be friends. (Which everyone knows how that goes) So a little after we decided to just be friends, we both started seeing other people and that made it kinda awkward which lead to us not really speaking to each other for about a year. However, in that time frame in the back of my mind there was always this thought that we were going to end up together in the end. I really couldn’t explain this feeling because at the time, he had been dating someone else so I didn’t really understand where this was all coming from. I prayed, and prayed, and prayed that I would get clarity on this feeling. (I even tried the whole giving God an ultimatum thing... funny how we think we can outsmart Him. Haha) My answer to that prayer didn’t come until probably a little over a year and a half after we stopped talking. Jared and I slowly began spending more and more time with each other. It was almost like we never skipped a beat. We were both single and just truly reconnecting our friendship. Then eventually, we took that next step and almost two years later here we are! It’s all about His timing and His perfect plan. 💗 We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you and have you as apart of our love story!
