FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We invite you to dress in formal attire with personality and flair. Think tailored suits elevated with expressive details — playful ties, pocket squares, statement accessories, or unique textures and colors. For dresses, think elegant cocktail attire inspired by summer in Italy or an afternoon at an Italian winery in Napa: refined silhouettes, light fabrics, and a sense of effortless romance. We encourage guests to embrace color, charm, and individuality while keeping the overall look polished and celebratory.

Question

What is a cocktail dress?

Answer

A cocktail dress is a dressy knee-length, midi, or long dress appropriate for an evening event.

Question

Are guests expected to wear tuxedos or long gowns?

Answer

No. Tuxedos and full-length formal gowns are not required for guests.

Question

Are ties required?

Answer

Ties are encouraged. Pick a fun one!

Question

Are jumpsuits okay?

Answer

Yes — dressy jumpsuits or elevated separates are welcome.

Question

Are there colors we should avoid?

Answer

Please avoid white or ivory. Bridesmaids will be wearing mix-and-match dresses in shades of blush and rose (including blush, dusty rose, and soft mauve). Guests are welcome to wear these colors — just a friendly heads-up!

Question

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail reception will be outdoors while dinner and dancing will be indoors. Note that July in Sonoma can be hot. You may want to bring sunglasses and/or a hat for the day and a jacket for the evening.

Question

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

Dressy shoes are recommended. Please consider grass-friendly options for the outdoor ceremony.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is free parking at the winery

Question

Will you be providing shuttle transportation to the wedding?

Answer

No, we will not be providing shuttle transportation. We kindly ask guests to plan to drive or use a rideshare service (Uber/Lyft). Please be sure to allow extra travel time, as it is a holiday weekend and traffic may be heavier than usual. We recommend checking traffic conditions in advance and planning accordingly.

Question

What's the closest airport?

Answer

The closest international airport to Sonoma is San Francisco International Airport (SFO), which is about 1.5 hours away by car, depending on traffic. If you’d like more flight options, Oakland International Airport (OAK) is also a convenient alternative at a similar drive time.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Our wedding will be adults-only. Only children who are part of the wedding party are invited to attend.
