One of our favorite brunch stops in Louisville. We highly recommend the muffins and lavender coffee!
If you're looking for some "southern comfort," this beer hall has some pretty good fried chicken - not that Elsa would know!
If you're looking to bounce around some local shops and grub spots downtown, Falls City Market has a Heine Brothers Coffee, Mint Julep Experiences, (for a taste of Kentucky Derby) Bourbon Barrel Foods, Chop & Roll Sushi Bar, Con Huevos Craves, Iron Quarter Brick-Oven Pizza, Batch Bakery, and a produce and grocery market.
As our dinner spot to celebrate our engagement, this is another special place for us. Great food for all three meals AND a great bar!
Close to Full Stop Station in Shelby Park, this is a woman-owned and operated bar with a cozy environment for the bourbon curious.
Our go to ice cream spot! They also have various locations for those trying to avoid the Bardstown Road traffic and parking nightmare.
Another one of our favorite date spots. Great popsicles for kids and adults alike! Also a location in St. Matthews that is paired with a Quills Coffee.
Weather permitting, this is one of our favorite walking spots - and it's absolutely free! Whether you're wanting a romantic walk or a walk to burn some energy out of the kids, we'd highly recommend a walk by the river and/or a walk across the bridge to Indiana!
