Where is the location for the wedding ceremony and reception?

Is the venue handicapped accessible?

Answer

Absolutely! There is a golf cart that can transport guests around the site in the event you have difficulties walking. Bathrooms are also in a building and accessible.

Will your ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The plan is to have the ceremony outdoors, as well as indoor and outdoor accessibility for the reception so please dress accordingly. In the event of poor weather (which we sure hope will not be the case!), the ceremony will be moved indoors.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

We would like to encourage you to dress semi-formal for our special day. We would certainly like you to dress up and celebrate with us, but also wear something you’re comfortable moving around in! We want everyone to get up and moving whether it be dancing or playing games outside.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We ask that you please only bring a plus one if there was one designated to you on your invite. We will not be able to accommodate extra attendees on the day of. If you have been designated a plus one and will be bringing someone, please indicate their name when you RSVP.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! As we have dietary restrictions, we understand completely. Reasonable requests will be honored, please let us know when you RSVP.

Do we have choices for dinner?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet style. Bread/butter and salad will be brought to tables. Entrees and sides will be self-serve. We will have a pork, chicken and beef option as well as pasta and sides.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We invite you to join us for bowling after the reception at Pinz Yorkville. We will be taking the party over there after we leave the venue! The bowling alley is located right down the street from the Holiday Inn.
