Janna is determined, sweet, and full of joy. Kaleigh is SO thankful for this friend and all the years of friendship they have shared!
Kamaki Burt
Best Man
Kamaki is Mateo's father... and Mateo thinks that the title "Best Man" fits him well. Mateo would describe Kamaki as the most devoted, hardest-working, godly and loving man that he knows and is incredibly excited for his father to be able to participate in one of the biggest days in Mateo's life.
Abby Everett

Abby and Kaleigh met at Georgia Southern and lived together for 3 years. They have so many awesome memories from BCM mission trips to late night talks and all the things in between. Abby is wise, gentle, and extremely funny. Kaleigh is so thankful for this friendship and is excited to be standing next to her as she soon marries the man of her dreams too!
Hunter Bedingfield

Hunter serves alongside Mateo at Mount Zion as the Director of Children and Family Ministry and is an incredible example of what it means to serve the Lord humbly and with excellence... all while having lots of fun! Mateo is thankful to know Hunter and call him a friend even if it has not been very long since they first met.
Ashley Frank

Ashley and Kaleigh have been friends since their freshman year of high school when they started singing in choir together. They were separated for a couple of years, but were reunited at Georgia Southern and didn't miss a beat. Ashley is kind, funny, and cares deeply about those around her. Kaleigh is so thankful for her!
DaShawn Charity

DaShawn is one of the most fun-loving and genuine guys that Mateo knows. Before they met, one of their mutual friends would tell them both separately that upon meeting one another they would either be the best of friends or mortal enemies. Mateo is grateful that it was the former case which turned out to be right, and they have been friends since their freshman year of high-school.
Jessica Lavender

Jessica and Kaleigh met at Georgia Southern and lived together Kaleigh's last year of college. They shared a bathroom in their house so they got really close really fast! They served at the BCM together and share many memories with each other. Jessica cares about others deeply and desires to make those around her happy, which she succeeds at. Kaleigh is so thankful for her!
Drew Goodwyn

Even though Mateo was a leader in Drew's Christian fellowship core group at UVA, Drew quickly proved to be someone that Mateo looked up to as a brother in Christ. Mateo and Drew went on to lead another core group together in the next year and realized the Lord was using each of them to grow and encourage one another. Mateo is incredibly grateful just to know Drew and is stoked to be his best man at his wedding in June.
Heather Menchew

Heather and Kaleigh have known each other forever. They have been through it all together: elementary, middle, & high school, and college at Georgia Southern. Kaleigh can always count on Heather to make her laugh and hype her up. She is kind, a good listener, and LOVES her dog. Kaleigh is so thankful for a friend like her!
Jackson Heath

Jackson is the younger brother of Kaleigh, and has been someone that Mateo has really enjoyed getting to know. His athleticism, jokes and outlook on life have been just a few examples of the fun he has interjected into every situation when he is around. Mateo looks forward to continuing to get to know Jackson and is excited to call him a friend and a brother.
Caitlyn Morgan

Caitlyn and Kaleigh met through serving with FUGE camps, but Kaleigh was lucky enough to be able to attend Georgia Southern with her as well. She and Kaleigh are a hoot when they get together and Kaleigh can always count on her to encourage her and make her smile. Kaleigh is so thankful for Caitlyn!
Trenton Whitehead

Trent is Mateo's soon to be brother-in-law, and Mateo could not be more excited. Trent has essentially been a part of the family already. Mateo said for years growing up that no one could possibly be good enough for his older sister, Kirsten, but his mind has since changed after seeing the kind of godly, hard-working and caring man that Trent has proved to be. Mateo is grateful to call him a friend and a brother.

Madi and Kaleigh met when she started working at Turning Point a couple of years ago. They quickly became friends and have done so much together in the short amount of time they have known each other. She is sweet and loves to have a good time! Madi is Kaleigh's right hand woman when it comes to ministry and she is so thankful for her!
Brenna Wortham

Brenna and Kaleigh met at Georgia Southern through the BCM. She and Kaleigh were friends then, but have now gotten closer since they became roommates! Brenna is passionate, bold, and loves well! She and Kaleigh have had so much fun being in Macon together and Kaleigh is so thankful for her and her friendship!
Ruthie Fuller
Flower Girl
Ruthie is one of Kaleigh's kids at Turning Point and is loved very much by both Kaleigh and Mateo. Ruthie is very sweet and loves to help others. She is sassy, likes horses, and LOVES to dance and sing. It is such an honor to call her "Flower Girl" and we know she will be beautiful!
Zeke Fuller
Ring Bearer
AKA the "Ring Security", Zeke is also one of Kaleigh's kids and the Flower Girl's brother. Kaleigh and Mateo (or Mr. Potato) love Zeke so much. He is full of energy, loves to talk, and is a future firefighter or policeman in the making. It will be so fun having him in the wedding and we know he will guard the rings SO well!
