COVID!?

As many of you have probably seen, Philadelphia re-instated the mask mandate and our venue is following their guidance. However, wedding venues live in the grey area because 90% of the time at weddings involve eating and drinking. As of right now, we will be required to wear masks when entering and exiting the building and when using the restrooms. Our day of coordinator requests that we be respectful of the rules, as they are a business and need to comply with the city rules. Also, please do not tag the venue location on social media. This draws attention to the venue and mask policies enforced; and potential reason for the city to enforce stricter mandates.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both will be taking place at the same venue The Lucy located at 231 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19107. Ceremony will begin at 5PM

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Formal/semi-formal. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that that jacket is too hot, let it all hang loose once we hit the dance floor! Formal is just a slight step down from black tie. Ladies, opt for a mid-length gown, dressy top and skirt, or even an elegant ankle-length jumpsuit. You’ll still want to complete the look with formal hair, makeup and accessories. For the guys, a suit jacket including dress shoes and a tie.

ARE KIDS INVITED?

We love your kids—we really do. But this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice means you’re able to let your hair down and celebrate with us on the day!

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE HOTELS TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

No, the hotels that we have room blocks in are within walking distance from the venue. Also, we will not be providing valet parking. Please see the Travel & Accommodations page for hotel and parking information.

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
