Question

Do I have to wear a costume?Do I have to wear a costume?

Answer

YES!!! Unless you hate fun, but if you do, why are you RSVP-ing?

Question

What should I wear?What should I wear?

Answer

Almost any Halloween costume! The more creative, the better! Just be aware that the ceremony is outside. We'll keep it short but it might be chilly. We will have heaters around the reception, a bonfire, and blankets in case you get cold, but it wouldn't hurt to dress warm anyways! The ceremony is also on grass in an orchard so be wary if you decide to wear heels.

Question

Costume BlacklistCostume Blacklist

Answer

Due to a few details in the wedding, we ask that a few costumes not be worn. No Brides; undead or otherwise No Skeletons No Witches No Grim Reapers

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Short answer: We don't have one! We have more than enough stuff and your presence is enough. Long answer: If you feel compelled, we are accepting cash gifts to go towards a down payment for a house. But cash is so impersonal...what if I want to give you something special? Make us something! Gifts mean so much more when they're handmade. This could be something crocheted, sewn, drawn, painted....etc. Also we love food so if you're good at pickling or canning, this could be your time to shine.

Question

What if it rains? What if it rains?

Answer

Plan B is the ceremony and reception are both in the pavilion.

Question

If we are driving directly to the ceremony site, where should we park?If we are driving directly to the ceremony site, where should we park?

Answer

Enter the parking lot and find the handicapped parking. Go past the handicapped parking under the arch up the hill. At the top of the hill, you can park behind the stone structure. Keep in mind parking on the hill is very limited, so we ask that it be reserved for the wedding party and anyone with trouble walking. Everyone else should park in the normal parking lot.

Question

Why is the cocktail hour before the ceremony instead of after? Why is the cocktail hour before the ceremony instead of after?

Answer

A few reasons... -Our reservation starts at 4 but we didn't want the ceremony to start until sunset for the spook factor. -If you drink first you might be warmer when we subject you to the elements -It gives our guests some leeway for traveling so there's no interruptions during the ceremony.

Question

What is the alcohol situation? What is the alcohol situation?

Answer

The hour before the ceremony is open bar. Anything after the ceremony is cash bar unless it's water, cider or soda.

Question

Are kids invited?Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to limited venue space, we hope you understand that children are only invited if named. Your invitation will be made out to "The [last name] Family" if your children have been invited. If your children aren't invited, your invitation will be addressed to "Mr and Mrs [last name]". (Unless you have different pronouns, obviously)

Question

Can I bring a guest/plus one/date?Can I bring a guest/plus one/date?

Answer

Your invitation will be addressed to [your name] and Guest if a plus one has been given to you. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any additional guests if not already listed.

Question

What happens if I don't RSVP on time? What happens if I don't RSVP on time?

Answer

If we don't get your RSVP's on time, you'll be marked as a 'no'. You snooze, you lose. We'll miss you celebrating with us, but we have to provide a final count to both our vendors and venue by this time.
