Question

What is the parking situation for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Since our venue is at the top of the mountain, there is no parking on-site for guests. You will park at Smoky Mountain Ziplines (509 Mill Creek Rd, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863). From there, you will be transported to and from the venue via shuttle. You will receive a shuttle schedule about 2 weeks prior to the wedding with all of the information! It is crucial that everyone gets to the shuttle pick up on time (or early!). The shuttle will remain at The Magnolia Venue all night so you can leave whenever you please! Please let us know if you have any questions about this!

When will the ceremony begin? When will the reception end?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM. Our reception will end at 10:00 PM. Shuttles will be provided to transport you back to Smoky Mountain Ziplines.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless your invitation denoted an additional guest, we, unfortunately, cannot allow you to bring a date. Due to our venue's limited capacity, we can only allow the guests noted on the invitations into the venue space.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Cocktail dresses, little black dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks are all great choices! This attire is a balance between formal & casual, and elegant & comfortable. It is encouraged to be polished and put together, but not overly elaborate. Please do not wear jeans. And please do not wear white, blush, ivory, or other off-white shades.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

It will likely be a bit chilly since we will be on a mountaintop. We advise bringing a sweater or jacket in case it is needed as the sun goes down.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be entirely outdoors. The reception will be both indoors and outdoors. Dinner will be seated inside and, as the evening progresses, you will be invited to join us outside for dancing and music.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Because we have invested in having professional photographers and videographers present, we are requiring an "unplugged"/technology-free ceremony. Feel free to take photos before the ceremony begins and during the reception.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, you will not be responsible for paying for your drinks!
