We grew up only miles apart, not knowing what was meant to be. In college we swiped right, went on a nighttime walk, and one conversation carried on to the next. From that moment it had always been us and we began writing the story of the inseparable pair we are today.

In May 2025, Kaleigh and Avery took a trip to Utah and kicked things off with a spontaneous hike in Kanarraville to a place called Kanarra Falls with no idea what they were getting into and no permit at first, they quickly learned (after purchasing one) that the trail involves trekking through a river that could get up to 3 feet deep. Despite the surprise they decided to go for it. The hike to the first waterfall was stunning, but it was the second waterfall that truly took their breath away as Kaleigh admired the waterfall. Avery quickly set up his phone to capture the moment, with her back turned he slipped the ring from his backpack into his pocket, stepped into the freezing cold water and got down on one knee. When Kaleigh turned around she found Avery asking to spend forever together and of course she said yes.
