FAQs

Please check out these frequently asked questions. If any additional questions arise, please contact Kalee and Michael.
Question

Is the wedding still happening in Asheville?

Answer

That is the plan! Kalee and Michael have been working with their AMAZING vendors on any developments since Hurricane Helene. Homewood did not sustain damage and the wedding is still set to take place on the original date. However, note that in March, the Asheville community will still be rebuilding their beautiful city, and healing from the emotional toll. Please be patient, kind, and respectful when visiting local restaurants and attractions as they operate in their new environments.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by January 31, 2025 through the RSVP page on this website. Although Kalee and Michael hope you are able to make it, if you are unable to attend, please let them know via the RSVP page.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code to Kalee and Michael's wedding is cocktail or semi-formal. No jeans or t-shirts please! It is kindly asked that you avoid colors that are traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams. Please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour are set to be outside, weather permitting. In case of chilly weather, please consider bringing a jacket or shaw to ensure comfort. The reception will be inside.

Question

May I bring a plus one or children?

Answer

Those with plus ones or children will be noted on your invitation, and when you go to RSVP. When RSVPing you will either see the name of your guest, or it will simply say "guest" and you can enter in their information. If there is confusion or an issue, please reach out to Kalee and Michael who can assist further!

Question

How Does Seating Work?

Answer

For the ceremony, the first row will be reserved for the immediate family of Kalee and Michael. The couple is leaning into "pick a seat, not a side" so ceremony seating will be open! For the reception, there will be a pre-assigned tables to ensure that guests are seated among people they know, and their plus one (if applicable).

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! For those driving, there is ample parking at Homewood. For guests who may be drinking that evening, you may leave your vehicle at Homewood as long as it is picked up by 10am the following day. Ridesharing (Uber/Lyft) is plenty in the area for folks who are not driving to Asheville and/or who will not be able to drive back to their hotel.
