Question

When should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests plan to arrive around 3:30 pm. The Ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm. Any guests arriving late will be asked to remain in their car until the ceremony has concluded. Please plan accordingly! If you are planning to attend the reception, but not the ceremony, we ask that you plan to arrive no earlier than 5:00 pm to ensure you do not interrupt the ceremony.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space at the venue, we can only accommodate those listed on the invitation. If you received a plus one, their name will appear under yours when you RSVP on our wedding website. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Due to limited space at the venue, we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation. If your children are invited, their names will appear under yours when you RSVP on our wedding website. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is [date]. This date provides us enough time to give our vendors a final headcount. If we do not receive an RSVP from you by this date, we will assume that you are unable to attend and will miss being able to celebrate with you

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. The official dress code for our wedding will be semi-formal. Suits and gowns are welcome, as well as cocktail dresses, rompers, pantsuits, and khakis with a dress shirt for men. We ask that men DO NOT wear jeans and women DO NOT wear white, off-white, or cream. If you have further questions about what to wear, we have dedicated a section of our wedding website to give you some more inspiration for what to wear.

Question

Are there hotel accommodations nearby?

Answer

Yes. We have reserved a block of rooms at The Holiday Inn Express in Fremont. When booking, mention our wedding for a discount. There are also multiple other hotels within 15-20 minutes of our venue. If you are unsure whether to book a hotel room or not and plan to drink at the reception, we strongly suggest considering getting a hotel room.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to the venue's location, we will not be able to provide transportation to and from the venue and hotel. We ask that guests plan accordingly and consider carpooling, especially if planning to drink at the reception.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

There will be parking attendants to direct you on where to park once you arrive at the venue. If you need handicap parking, please make the attendants aware upon your arrival.

Question

Can I leave my car at the venue overnight?

Answer

Yes! Our #1 concern is the safety of our guests, especially if you are planning to drink at the reception. However, please note that your car needs to be picked up by 10 am the next morning.

Question

Is there a smoking area at the venue?

Answer

Yes, the venue has a designated smoking area outside the main reception hall. PLEASE NOTE, there is a fee for every cigarette/cigar butt found on the ground. We ask that you show the same courtesy we would show you and use the designated ashtrays or trash cans for disposal.

Question

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Weather pending, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and afterparty will mainly be held outdoors. Dinner for the reception will be held indoors.

Question

Can I take pictures/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that prior to the beginning of the ceremony, guests will be asked to silence and put away all electronics. We will be more than happy to share pictures and videos of our ceremony with you all once we receive them from our wonderful photographers/videographer. As for the reception, capture all you want and please share everything with us! We would love to see the party through your eyes. For those of you bringing little ones, we ask that you provide them with electronic-free activities during the ceremony, such as coloring/activity books, silent toys, or whatever else you can come up with that will not disrupt the ceremony.
