Kaleb and Michelle met at Greenville College in the summer of 2013. As freshmen, they both arrived on campus one week early for marching band camp and became fast friends. Over the next four years, they spent lots of time playing music, studying, and going for long drives together. They stayed in touch after college, continuing the tradition of hours-long video calls. After returning from an internship in L.A., Kaleb had a feeling that Michelle was the one, so he moved to St. Louis and they started dating. Friends for seven years, dating for two years, forever to go!
Kaleb took Michelle on a surprise date. No hints allowed. Once they had passed all their favorite restaurants and started to leave Missouri, Michelle guessed they were going back to Greenville. She was right. Kaleb took her to get ice cream, then drove her to all of their favorite spots. They ended up at Patriot's Park, where they had their first date playing frisbee by the lake. Kaleb read Michelle the first note she'd ever written him. Then, he invited her to recreate their first date. Partway through the frisbee game, Kaleb got down on one knee and asked Michelle to spend forever with him.
