Port Angeles Weather

Port Angeles, WA

Port Angeles’ coastal climate makes for mild weather. Temperatures in August will range from 70ºF during the daytime to 50ºF in the evenings. Even though Western Washington has a reputation for rain, Port Angeles sits in what’s called a rain shadow — or the “banana belt” of Washington. Port Angeles receives, on average, 10 fewer inches per year of rain than Seattle and has 128 days of mostly sun compared with only 88 for Seattle.
