How Do I RSVP?

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab above and RSVP at any time. We will include a paper RSVP with the invite if you prefer to mail your RSVP back to us!

What If I Don’t RSVP in Time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by Saturday April 18, 2026, you will bee marked as “not attending”. We would love celebrating with you, however, we have to have an exact guest count. (This means you are not allowed to show up to our special day. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you).

What Should I Do If I Cannot Make It?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate “Will NOT Attend” on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP’d “Attending”, but find that you will not make it, please notify Kinsley as soon as you are aware.

Can I Bring A Date/Plus One?

Answer

Due to limited budget, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to “(Your Name) & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

Can I Share Pictures Of Your Big Day On Social Media?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not share any photos on social media of the wedding until either Kinsley or Kaleb has had the chance to do so first.

Can I Take Photos During The Ceremony?

Answer

We are having an “Unplugged” ceremony, no phones or cameras in use until the reception. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say “I do”. We have hired a professional to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos/videos as you’d like!

Will The Wedding Take Place Indoors Or Outdoors?

Our Ceremony will be held outdoors and reception will be indoor.

Will There Be A Bar?

Answer

No. There will NOT be a bar at our wedding.

Where Should We Stay?

Answer

Our venue is located in Coeburn, VA. We have decided not to do a hotel block to give our guest the freedom to stay at a place that is most comfortable for them! The Inn at Wise is beautiful and is about 30 minutes from the venue!

What Is The Dress Code?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is semi formal/business casual attire. (Dress as you would for church) Ladies you can wear midi or floor length dresses. Gentlemen can wear slacks/jeans and a button down shirt. And of course please no wearing white.

Are There Any Colors I Should Avoid Wearing?

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the Bride: whites, ivories, and creams. A color palette will be included with your formal invite!

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

A time for the ceremony will be given on your formal invite and we ask that you arrive and be in your seat NO LATER THAN 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. You may arrive earlier than 15 minutes and it will give you time to park and find your seat. If you arrive after the ceremony has already started, you will not be able to be seated and will have to wait until after the ceremony ends to enter!

What If I Am Running Late?

Our wedding will begin promptly at 1:00pm. Unfortunately if you are not seated by then, you will no be able to attend the ceremony.

When And Wear Is The Wedding?

Answer

The wedding will take place on Saturday, May 16th, 2026 at Bark Camp Lake. The reception will take place on Saturday, May 16th, 2026 at Mountain View Church. Ceremony and reception details can be found on your formal invite.

Where Can I Park Upon Arrival?

Answer

On-site parking is available at Bark Camp Lake. When you enter you will need to purchase a parking decal to hang on your review mirror. These can be found at the welcome sign for $3.00 per vehicle.

What Will The Weather Be Like?

Answer

May generally sees cool and humid conditions. The average precipitation for May is around 4.60 inches. The weather is typically mild with average highs around 74F and lows of 54F.

What Type Of Food Will Be Served?

We are having our immediate family and friends bring a dish each to create a large selection of foods.
