Yes! Your kids are welcome! We would love it if they attended the ceremony and we will also have childcare available on site for kids who would prefer to play. The nursery will be open and your kids can be cared for there while you are at the ceremony or at the post-ceremony brunch. The nursery has games and toys galore, in addition to a sprawling playground. There are fidget bags at the entrance to the sanctuary.
We started going to incarnation after our youngest, Logan, was born. What started as a make up church service to join Kay's mom after Logan's birth interrupted our Easter plans has become our new community in Santa Rosa. They have been incredibly welcoming and a center of a lot of joy in our lives. Joe now sings in the choir and Juniper is regularly cleaning out the snack drawer in the nursery. We understand many of our guests may have had some less than positive dealings with Christianity as queer people. We have too. And this place is different. They practice love and mean it. They have welcomed this two dad family with open arms and hearts. Because of all of this, we thought it would be the perfect place to celebrate our wedding.
Yes! We got legally married at the county clerk's office. This ceremony is our opportunity to celebrate with you, our beloved community.
