Your wedding is on New Year's Eve?

Yes! This is a New Year's Eve party where people happen to get married. Our reception will conclude with a countdown to midnight, our take on a ball drop, and a champagne toast!

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! See the “Hotels” tab of this website. If the hotel block is full, just reach out and we will add more rooms if we can! Hotel rooms will go quickly for the holiday, and the weather will be a bit unpredictable - please keep this in mind!

What should I wear?

Answer

Please come dressed in your "New Year's Eve Best!" If you've ever wanted to dress up and hit the town for New Year's Eve, this is your chance! Think: sequins, sparkles, silver, gold, and black! P.S. In some countries, like Spain and Italy, wearing red underwear on NYE is thought to bring good luck… do with that information what you will.

Can I bring a “plus one”?

To create a warm and personal experience, we ask that only the guests named on your invitation attend.

Is there a separate location for the reception?

Answer

No! Our ceremony and reception will both be held at Union Event Venue (1721 Baltimore Ave., Kansas City, MO).

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is limited street parking near the venue, and paid parking at 17th and Baltimore. We recommend walking from nearby hotels and/or using Uber/Lyft if possible!

What happens if there is wintery weather?

Answer

Your safety is our top priority, so if travel becomes unsafe and you can’t make it, we completely understand. That said, if the venue remains open and most of our vendors are able to get there, the celebration will go on! We recommend planning ahead—reserve a nearby hotel and give yourself plenty of time so you can stay safe before and after the festivities.
