At Wesley Monumental, there is a small parking lot at the corner of Drayton Street and East Gordon Street that the church owns, and there is parking along East Wayne Street, right next to the church. The streets around the church are metered, but they are free on Saturdays! At the Charles Morris Center, there is a large parking lot located on site. The Charles Morris Center is a five minute drive from Wesley Monumental, so plan to drive, carpool, or use a rideshare. There will also be alcohol served at the wedding, so please plan accordingly if you want to drink.
There are a lot of things to do in Savannah while you are in town for the weekend. Since it is the middle of the summer, we recommend a few indoor activities to stay cool in the heat. You could visit a museum such as the Jepson Center for the arts, go duck pin bowling at Bowl and Brew, or wander around Plant Riverside. There are also trolley tours that ride around downtown and stop at all the historic places. Forsyth Park is also a nice shady place to walk around, and they have a farmers market every Saturday morning. Be sure to bring a water bottle, stay hydrated, and go in stores to enjoy their air conditioning!
Please arrive no later than 4:15. If driving, please allow time to find a parking space.
