We actually met in preschool. We continued to be in the same class until 5th grade. Then, Ali moved to a different school and conference. In 7th grade, Ali moved to another new school, which played against Kaleb's school in sporting events or speech and music. We would see each other from time to time. It was not until the summer of 2020, when Kaleb added Ali on Snapchat, and we started talking every day. We got to get to know each other all over again. Whenever we tell people of how we met and got reacquainted, they always say "aww that sounds like something from a movie." We could not imagine our story any other way.
