We met our first semester of college together and immediately became friends. We would spend time hanging out and writing songs and new music together.

Through songwriting, our friendship really began to grow as we got to understand and know each other's hearts for ministry, specifically in worship. Then we were placed on the same worship traveling team for UVF Worship in 2021, where we had spring rehearsals twice a week and would hang out together a lot more with our team, and outside of our team as friends.

During the summer of 2021 while traveling, we would spend a lot of time together whether it was eating, talking on the bus, or having fun at camps with our team. We also grew closer in our friendship since our focus was ministry. The Lord was working in us, to teach us more of His ways, as well as His purpose for our lives as individuals. It was as if the Lord was preparing us for something greater that we didn't realize, being friends at the time. We learned more about what ministry is, as individuals during this time.

We were ending off the summer of traveling and wanted to grab dinner with two of our friends, so we decided to go to Texas Roadhouse, which was Kaleb and I's first time there. That night, we saw each other in a completely different light and we both knew that we liked each other. From then on, we spent time figuring out what us being together would look like and we had to work through anxiety and nerves. On October 23rd, 2021, under the most stunning starry night with beautiful clouds, Kaleb asked me to be his girlfriend and from then on, our love has blossomed over the years, we've grown as individuals, and the Lord has continually shown his faithfulness in our lives.
