The closest thing to a European gas station we Americans can experience - Buc-ee's transcends all normal constraints of time and travel. Need some gas? Buc-ee's. Hot Kolaches? Buc-ee's. Fresh brisket sandwiches? Buc-ee's. Genuine cowhide rugs? Buc-ee's. Hand poured lavender essential oil candles? Buc-ee's. Full tackle boxes and fishing gear? Buc-ee's. We don't really have to say anymore. Go to Buc-ee's.
Barton Springs
A local favorite - municipal pool with pretty nature walks surrounding in the heart of downtown Austin!
Tejas Meat Supply
We go here a little too often (the brisket nachos and cheeseburgers are AMAZING!). It's a bit farther north from our venue area, but located in the heart of Georgetown, where we currently live :)
The Domain
A great walking outdoor mall experience! For those visiting from Hawaii, think Ala Moana or the Waikiki boardwalk.
