Kale and I happened to meet in the middle of the pandemic. So obviously the only way to really meet anyone new to date was online. After a month or so of talking on and off we were able to finally meet. We both were a bit awkward at the beginning of dinner (because we both are just awkward in general) but by the end we were cracking jokes and having a great time. We ended up going to a second bar where we both kicked each others butts at different games. Usually I’m the pro dart player but he had me beat. But I threw it right back and kicked butt in pool, which is usually his winning game. It was a blast! Neither one of us went into this thinking this is who I’m going to marry, but it didn’t take us very long to realize just that.

The proposal was simple at home. We had some personal things come up and the surprise got revealed a little early. But the ring was beautiful and exactly what I envisioned.
