Tramaine heard Kalandra before he saw her. On a Sunday in September 2015, Kalandra delivered a speech entitled "A Virtuous Woman: Not Perfect But Worth It" and Tramaine was present supporting one of his best friends who had to preach. However, Tramaine entered the sanctuary while she was speaking and her back was facing him (hence him hearing her before he saw her). After the service, he spoke to her and complimented her on her speech. Later that day, he added her as a friend on Facebook but didn't say anything to her. A year later, he preached revival at her home church in August of 2016 and that is the day he presented himself to her in the most subtle way...she was oblivious! Although he believes that she was playing “hard to get,” he consistently pursued her. Three months later, he prevailed against her stubbornness, they started dating, and he captured her heart in the process!!!
