Kyler's Story: I vividly remember meeting Kala at the beginning of freshman year and seeing her beautiful smile and thinking to myself, “this is a girl I have to get to know.” Time flew by but Kala and I remained close friends throughout the years. The final few months of senior year I was able to muster up the courage and ask her on an official date. From that moment, I knew she was the one I wanted to spend my life with. We have shared countless memories together since then. One of my favorites was the day I asked her to spend the rest of our lives together. I proposed at Lone Mountain Ranch in Big Sky, Montana. The best part; Kala had absolutely no idea it was happening! (For those of you that know Kala, this was quite the accomplishment). Kala's Story: We met early into our freshman year of college at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Over those four years we had several of our classes together and shared the same friend group. Although we didn't officially start dating until after our college graduation, Kyler was always my best friend. From the moment I met him almost 10 years ago he has consistently been the person everyone wants to be around. I know this to still be true because any time I leave the house without him, I'm always asked where he is. Kyler and I have spent the last 5+ years together traveling whenever we have the opportunity to, turning our first house into a home, spoiling our dog Stella, spending time with family and celebrating our friends every moment we can. After a two and a half year engagement we are more than ready for wedding day and what this next chapter will hold. We cannot wait to have each and every one of you there with us on our big day!
