Laurie has always been the rock of her family being there as a foundational support for whoever needs her help. She always has words of wisdom and has had plenty of times where she has reminded Kalah and Christian to take a moment and find peace in the quiet simple moments. It's a skillset few have but has been invaluable to the way they've lived and organized this wedding.

A loving girl mom, Sue has been there to watch Kalah & Christian grow up together since they were 16. She took them on one of their first ever dates to go apple picking! Since then, they have gone to countless lunches and dinners, and have had fun adventures during visits to Boston and NYC. Sue has helped make the pair's dream wedding a reality with her creativity, moral support, and top notch fashion advice. We are so grateful!

Emily (aka Emac) is the true OG in so many ways. She has been a loving and supportive friend since we were in middle school, and she was present for Kalah and Christian's first date in the summer of 2014. She also introduced Kalah to One Direction 2 years prior. Thank GOD for Emac.
Jeff Karloff
Father of the Bride
A bald girl dad, Jeff has been there from the very start. He picked Kalah up from Christian's house after Christian officially asked Kalah to be his girlfriend in 2014, over a summertime camp fire. Jeff has watched the pair grow up, treating them to many Longhorn Steakhouse dinners and providing many rides to/from high school and Amtrak stations. Kalah & Christian are so grateful to Jeff for his endless love and support. We wouldn't be here today without him!

Nicholas has always been there for Christian even though he was born two years later than him. Despite being his younger brother, Christian has always looked up to Nick both as a friend, and literally, because he’s taller.

Rachel and Kalah met in fifth grade and thus started their epic enemies to lovers storyline. Whether it was high school debauchery or helping Christian propose to Kalah at the Renaissance Faire in 2024, Rachel and Kalah have grown up together and been sisters through it all - their bond is truly magick.

Meeting in 2nd grade, Christian and Harrison became good friends bonded for life by enduring Mr. Steier’s Cub Scouts pack and then surviving years of STEM. Christian knew if they could make it through that, they could do anything.

Liz overheard Kalah and Marian talking about One Direction in the airport on the way to study abroad in London, and they’ve been inseparable since. They have taken college classes together, moved to NYC together, ran around rural Ireland for Harry Styles, and so much more. Their friendship is solid, supportive, and honestly iconic. Friendships formed through fandom are built different <3.

Meeting when Pokemon Emerald was still relevant, Christian and Zach became closer with age. When winding down college the pair talked about how sad it would be that everyone we grew up with would move on and have our own lives. Now they’re seeing all their friends get married and still playing Pokemon.

Caroline and Kalah were friends in first grade, but it was 2012 One Direction stan Twitter, freshman year gym class, and high school musical theater that truly brought them together and solidified years of memories and long-lasting friendship. Kalah is so grateful to have known Caroline for almost her whole life!

Liz and Kalah met when they were paired up in a high school musical - there’s nothing that can bond two people more than the trauma of high school theater. Since then, the Liz and Kalah have gone on many girls trips together in the woods and have been gossiping about Big Brother and reality TV since 2016.

Marian and Kalah were next door neighbors freshman year of college and bonded over cookies and One Direction. Truly nothing has changed since then, except the amount of money they now have to spend on cookies and One Direction. They are bound by the power of fandom, NYC, Harry Styles.
