Travel Note
We have a series of rental houses on hold for groups to reserve. Please reach out to Katie to talk about grouping friends/family together to rent houses. We have also listed two places below that are great for just renting a room if you don't want to be in a group. There are so many beautiful homes and hotels in San Miguel and we want to help make sure you stay somewhere amazing!
Flight
Volaris Airlines is the cheapest way to go direct into Leon. Depending on your location, there aren't direct flights everyday. You might also consider doing a cheap Southwest flight to San Diego and then flying the cheapest Volaris flight from Tijuana to Leon. There are flights everyday for that option. Direct from SAN JOSE (Tues,Fri), ~$400 round trip, 3:40 hr flight -Friday flight: 11:48am-4:30pm -Tuesday flight: 7:24am-9:18am (a very early flight, leaving SMA before 5am) Direct from OAKLAND (M, W, Th, Sat, Sun) ~$345 round trip, 3:45 hour flight -Wed/Thurs: 2:51pm-8:38pm (gets you into SMA after 10pm) -Fri: 8:17pm-2:04am (not a great flight--almost a red eye) -Monday: 10:23am-12:21pm (good option to come home, leaving SMA around 7am) Direct from LAX (Mon, Thurs, Sat--however all are really horrible flight times--would encourage a different route), ~$300 round trip, 3:15 hour flight There are no direct flights from SAN Diego airport. Use the CBX crossing and fly direct from TIJ. Direct from Tijuana (daily, choose CBX and you will check in on US side of boarder and be transported straight to airport),~$100 roundtrip, 2:50 hour flight
