COVID-19 Precautions

The Wedding Website of Kajal Mehta and Jay Brahmbhatt
For many of our beloved guests, this will be the first in-person event since the start of the pandemic. Your safety and health is more important than our wedding celebration.
Question

What safety precautions are you taking during wedding weekend?

Answer

1) We request all guests privately confirm negative COVID-19 testing within 2-3 days of the event or privately attest to vaccination status. 2) There will be hand sanitizer widely available. 3) We request mask wearing at all times. 4) We aim for food to be consumed outdoors, especially when gathered in larger groups. 5) We ask our guests to observe physical distancing as able.

Question

How has COVID-19 impacted the wedding planning?

Answer

We originally planned an engagement party for March 28, 2020. Of course, our worlds were upended and this event was cancelled. It worked out, because incidentally, Jay developed a fever that very night after spending a week working with the first COVID-19 patients. Since then, there have been numerous delays and our wedding date has been rescheduled several times, in hopes of a safer environment. Every single person who is invited has played an irreplaceable part in Jay and Kajal's lives. This wedding is smaller than the wedding we had originally planned and there are so many loved ones who we couldn't invite in-person or who can't travel. To those joining virtually, we apologize and hope to see you soon.

For all the days along the way
