We’re getting married!

After about a year of knowing each other and texting back and forth as just friends.... March 14 I was invited to hang out. Well that evening turned into the entire weekend of hanging out. We ended up going on our very first date to my favorite resturant Applebee’s. That weekend was also his best friend’s birthday not knowing that Travis was planning a birthday party where I met almost all of his close friends. After an amazing weekend with someone I was just suppose to be hanging out with, I knew he was the one. I pictured spending the rest of my life with him. We hung out every weekend for about the next month until I was in a tragic military accident. I was rushed to the hospital in Macon, Ga where I had to undergo many surgeries but when I woke up Travis was right there along with my family. Needless to say that’s when he met my parents. Through a rough and very long recovery period, the military bouncing me from base to base, Travis was there every step of the way. He aided to my recovery and made sure I was keeping up with my physical therapy. Once I was semi back to normal, and it was as if we never skipped a beat. We both went on to living out best life together. Going on dates, taking walks and going out to many places which was making up for the time I was not able to. We welcomed our first child January 2016 and our second child February 2017. Shortly after our second child, questions started to pop up about getting married and ring sizes. That’s when I started thinking..when will he propose? March 2018, that question was answered and my big moment happened, that moment I’ve been waiting for. Travis proposed in Savannah, Ga during St. Patrick’s Day weekend. He secretly told our friends that were there with us when and where he wanted to do it and they made sure they were camera ready. Now we are planning our amazing wedding on top of welcoming our third child July 2019.
