Question

Do we need to be vaccinated to come to the wedding?

Answer

We are in no way going to tell you that you need to be vaccinated to come to our wedding. However, everyone does need to obey by the State of Hawaii’s protocols and mandates for coming to the islands. If you are not vaccinated, you will need to test before your flight and may need to take more tests when you arrive. We hope Covid is not too big of a deal by July but everyone needs to be aware of what is happening.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We all know it is going to be hot and humid as July is technically tropical storm season in Hawaii. We want you as our guests to be comfortable in whatever you are wearing. We would say that Men wear: - khaki pants, linen pants, even golf pants or nice shorts can work! - aloha shirts, short sleeve button ups, Polo shirts Women wear: - Maxi dresses, floral prints, simple wedding guest dresses - blouse with dress pants, jumpsuits or rompers if dresses are not your thing Shoes: -The Ceremony will be outside in a grassy area so we suggest no stilettos so no one gets stuck in the grass. Also, the paths down to the ceremony can sometimes get muddy, so no white shoes that way you won’t get them dirty!

Question

What is the alcohol policy?

Answer

At He’eia State Park, alcohol is only allowed in the banquet hall! Please do not take alcohol outside as it is against our rental agreement with the park! Thank you!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You should arrive at 3:30! The ceremony will start at 4 but that way you have enough time to make your way down to the hula mound for the ceremony!

For all the days along the way
