The area is fairly rural. We suggest bringing food and drinks for yourselves. Most of the cabins have a full kitchen. If you want to go out to eat or need anything here are a list of local spots. - Oark General Store ( Vintage gas station that serves food ) https://share.google/ZwcQTJGRli5PfN2hf - Combs General Store ( Vintage gas station that serves food ) https://share.google/woetCfV605uYyi33f - Aharts ( Grocery Store ) https://maps.app.goo.gl/bGeCpYwTM6a9GuyGA - Paradise Pizza ( Pizza and Pub ) https://share.google/Pvi0fOxPABQfV8oUQ - Byrd's Adventure Center ( Restaurant and Camping ) Our favorite place to stay when camping. - Turner Bend ( Gas Station , Convenience Store , Deli ) https://share.google/BKN16o0KepJ6deL5J
Mulberry Mountain Lodging is a large property that has cabins spread out all throughout and has RV hookups and camping. We reserved all of the cabins at Mulberry. They are all different shapes and sizes spread out over the property. Reach out to Jameson if you are wanting to stay at Mulberry. We also can have an RV brought in for the weekend from a local supplier, they are all newer and will include the delivery, setup and tear down. Reach out to Jameson for details. This is a good option in my opinion to stay onsite. Byrd's Adventure Center ( Very close by and also has RV hookups , site camping and cabins. ) We typically stay here but they don't have the accommodations for the wedding. Above are the three best options and will make the weekend the most conducive for entertainment and hanging out. Here are some other options if the above don't suit your fancy. Turner Bend Store Cabins & RV Campgrounds 20034 Arkansas 23, Ozark, AR 72949 (479) 667-3641 ( We have been to Turner Bend Store but have not stayed here. It is close by and a good alternative option ) Oxford Inn Hotel 305 North 18th Street, Ozark, AR 72949 (479) 667-1131 Ozark Inn & Suites 1711 West Commercial Street, Ozark, AR 72949 (479) 667-1500
There are a lot of fun activities. It's a beautiful area with mountains, rivers, trails and twisty roads. Byrd's Adventure Center and Turner Bend are the two kayak places near by. Byrd's also hosts flight festivals for bush planes which we have attended. - https://byrdsadventurecenter.com/home/ - https://www.turnerbend.com/ Saturday will be a great day for everyone to go explore and enjoy the area as we won't have the wedding dinner until 4:30-6:30 and the ceremony will be at sunset. The main reason why we frequent the area is to camp and go trail riding in our SXS. There's nice gravel roads that you can take a car on and see outlooks, waterfalls and hiking trails. There are kayaks, rafts and canoe rentals and the river is amazing. We will be bringing our SXS. They are allowed on the roads in Ozark. We will be going on a couple rides throughout the weekend and I highly suggest bringing your offroad rig if you own one! The 'Pig Trail' is an iconic scenic byway that runs through the area we are staying. A lot of motorcyclist and car enthusiast take road trips up and down it. Here's a link for some information. - https://www.arkansas.com/ozark/outdoor-recreation/pig-trail-scenic-byway
