We exchanged vows just the two of us in Seattle at Kerry Park on January 31, 2022. Kerry Park has beautiful views of the Seattle skyline and Mount Rainier. We visited Seattle together for the first time in 2017 and it quickly became one of our favorite cities we've visited. While the forecast called for rain that day, there was a perfect blue sky.
We are having an open house celebration to share the next chapter of our lives with you in person 🥰 Check out the "Party" page for more details. Please RSVP by February 25th on the “RSVP” page. You can access this page through the navigation menu.
Kaity moved to the Charlotte area in late August 2015 with plans to attend a coding bootcamp in October. She didn't know anyone and set out on Reddit to find friends in the area. As a big craft beer lover eager to explore Charlotte's bounding brewery scene, Kaity asked her newly minted friends if they'd be interested in meeting up at a new brewery each week. They obliged. "Fun"employed with nothing to do until class in a few months, Kaity arbitrarily dubbed Tuesday nights as brewery meetup night. Little did she know that Mark was also a Charlotte transplant that moved to the city in May. As a brand new TV news director, his work hours were a bit abnormal. His normal days off were... Monday and ✨Tuesday✨. Mark was also eager to make new friends and was thrilled at the prospect of a social event on his "Sunday" nights. Mark attended the first few brewery meetups which were bolstering with popularity. It wasn't until the 4th or 5th that Kaity and Mark actually got to have more than a 3 second conversation. The turnout was light at Triple C Brewing that night, enough to the point that the crew headed over to the (now defunct😭) Common Market in South End. They sat next to each other on the back patio under the stars and they talked about music, not knowing that they'd be having these conversations together for the next 6 years...and the rest of their lives. The rest is history 💖
