Kate went on a girls trip (with Megan, of course!) after they won tickets, off of Facebook, to go tubing down the Apple River in Somerset, Wisconsin. The girls had a few cocktails on the way down and then decided … let’s go down the water slide! So, off they went. Brady was bored in the house and in the house bored… so he tagged along on a girls weekend with his mom (of course!). After a few times down the water slides Kate, Megan and Jacquie decided ‘let’s go relax by the pool’. Well, with Shannon there, there’s no relaxing! The three girls walked into the pool area and Kate spotted a young Brady with overgrown hair and an Amish beard in the pool with who she thought was his girlfriend. This ‘girlfriend’ ended up being his mom! Kate had some liquid courage and went to the ‘deep’ end of the pool to cannon ball. Brady was kind enough to let her know ‘hey, it’s not actually 7 feet deep’. Kate proceeded to cannon ball. This is what hooked him in… After a very long night of drinks, a severe thunderstorm, a tornado watch, sitting by a ‘fire’, hundreds of mosquito bites, Megan puking behind a ‘tree’ and then proceeding to invite Brady to the lake the next weekend- Brady couldn’t resist. He showed up to Round Lake in Mcgregor, MN (with a loaded handgun under his drivers seat nonetheless), eager to meet Kate. They were in separable ever since!
