A hidden gem, venturing over to downtown Wickford is well worth it. This historical village has a quaint downtown full with a variety of shops and restaurants! 15 mins. from Narragansett
Downtown Newport
Head to Thames St. in downtown Newport and wander around to check out all the incredible shops, bars, and restaurants! 30 mins. from Narragansett
Cliff Walk
Fun and unique way to get some exercise! This trail takes you right along the waters of Newport while getting to check out some of the city's Historical Mansions. The entire trail is 3.5 miles long but you can do as much or as little as you'd like. No cost for entry, there are multiple entry points but we'd recommend Seaview Ave. as you can park right there and walk over to the trail. 35 mins. from Narragansett.
Narragansett Town Beach
Right in the heart of Narragansett, stop by the beach to check out the surfers, go for a walk or lounge if weather allows. Beach parking / entry is free after Labor Day!
Scarborough State Beach
One of New England's most popular beaches, definitely worth checking out if you have time. Since it's September, there won't be any fee for parking / entry. 10 mins. from downtown Narragansett!
Shepherd's Run
New local winery within a 5 minute drive to downtown Narragansett. Cute scenery and vibe, worth checking out and trying their flight & chocolate pairing.
Newport Vineyards
Our favorite local winery which also has it's own brewery! Definitely try their appetizers and our favorite wine, Great White. Don't worry, if you can't make it to the Vineyard, you can try some of their wine at our reception! 30 mins. from Narragansett
Whalers Brewing Company
Great local brewery, definitely try their famous Whalers Rise APA! 10 mins. from Narragansett
