Early in their Senior Year at Muhlenberg College, Tom and Kait met at the local bar across from campus – the Tavern on Liberty. A classic “meet cute”, Tom and Kait talked for hours over a few beers about their Russian History class while their mutual friend, Daiki, sat in between them. Kait went home that night and told her sorority sister and bridesmaid, Nicole, that she was going to marry Tom. For their first un-official date, Tom and Kait happened to both be volunteering at a dinner during Alumni Weekend where an 80 year old alum named Oscar had the hots for Kait. Tom knew he had to make a move, and make it fast. They soon went on their first date and the rest is history (but not Russian History)! Throughout college, the couple frequently went to the movies which soon became a new favorite pastime of theirs. After graduating from Muhlenberg, Tom and Kait moved to Harrison, New Jersey while beginning their careers in Manhattan. However, a pandemic had other plans and the couple soon moved back to Hightstown, New Jersey – Kait’s hometown – where they spent plenty of time with her family and made frequent trips to Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania to visit Tom’s family. A pandemic, a dog, and two graduate degrees later, Tom and Kait now call Princeton, New Jersey home. In September 2024, Tom took Kait on one final movie date at the Princeton Garden Theater where he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him in the most cinematic way possible – creating a movie trailer about their love story. The couple is so excited to share a “cinematic” day celebrating their “history” with their closest friends and family. Tom and Kait thank you for witnessing their love for each other and can’t wait to see you all on July 2, 2026!
