Josh and I met a couple years back in Westport In Kansas City. He saw me and couldn't help but come up and talk to me. With a little help from some liquid courage he came over and introduced himself and told me I was beautiful. Unfortunately I was already in a relationship. Little did we know years later God would put us back in each other's paths yet again. He asked me out and continued to be persistent. At that time in my life I didn’t want to date but my father had told me that it was pretty impressive for a man to wait and that I should give the guy a chance so I did. That was the best decision I have made in life thus far. We dated during quarantine and our dates weren't the typical going out to bars and restaurants but we had the opportunity to have more intimate dates like fishing, watching movies and cooking together. This brought us even closer together. After a couple dates we finally had our first kiss and just like that... FIREWORKS! From that day on I knew that Josh was going to be my husband. We have grown together and supported each other through the rough year of 2020 as a Nurse and a Police officer and have become each other's support. We are both excited to celebrate with everyone and can’t wait to start our life together as husband and wife.
