Where is the reception?

Cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 p.m. on LaPlaya’s Vanderbilt Terrace. From the lobby, cross the street to the Vanderbilt Ballroom building and the terrace is just outside, overlooking the bay. Hotel staff will be happy to assist with directions.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! Shuttles will take guests from LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort and the Hilton Hotel to the church for the ceremony. Afterward, shuttles will return guests to both hotels and later take guests from the Hilton to the reception at LaPlaya. In the evening, shuttles will run from LaPlaya back to the Hilton from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Additionally, we have provided an Uber voucher that can be used throughout the wedding weekend. Is there a dress code?

The dress code for the welcome party is cocktail attire and the dress code for the wedding is black-tie optional.

We have reserved a select number of rooms under the Hudock/Hunt room block at LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort as well as the Hilton Hotel. Please see the "travel" page for additional details.
