FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kaitlyn Baker and Zachary McIntosh
Here is where basic information for guests can be found. If you have questions prior to the big day, please read here first, as we may have your answer.
Question

RSVP:

Answer

If you received an invitation by mail, you can scan the QR code provided, using your phone, or click on the "RSVP" tab on this website to RSVP. Please do this by the given date in the invitation.

Question

Can I bring an extra that is not listed in my RSVP group?:

Answer

No. Please refrain from bringing extras that are not accounted for on the RSVP. If you think that someone should be added to your group, please contact the bride about the matter, and she may be able to help you out. Certain people will be included/excluded based on what is best for the couple on their important day. Thank you for understanding.

Question

ALCOHOL AND SMOKING:

Answer

This wedding will be alcohol free! Please do not bring your own alcohol, or arrive under the influence. The couple wants only pleasant company, and I promise you're not more pleasant with substances in your bloodstream. This wedding is also smoking-free! no weed, cigarettes or drugs of the sort. Vaping is fine, only if you do it out of sight. If the bride smells any of these substances, she may feel ill from them. Please be respectful. No, you cannot smoke out of sight and expect the entire guest list not to smell it across the yard.

Question

Ceremony and reception addresses:

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue, at a family home. Please respect your future family members and their home while you are there. The address is located on the "travel" tab on this website. ADDITIONALLY you are advised to be cautious about your google maps route to the address. It is located in the country, and choosing the highway route is much safer than the back roads.

Question

Posting on social media:

Answer

Please respect the couple and refrain from posting pictures of the bride and groom to social media. They prefer their life to be private and intimate. Only post photos of yourself or others who have given you permission.

Question

Phones and recordings:

Answer

Taking pics or videos is allowed during the big day, but nobody will warn you when you are being recorded by the photographer. If your only picture taken is when you have your phone in your face, that is your own fault. The couple does not want to be posted on social media anyway, so just enjoy the real life moment in front of you, instead of being glued to your device. The photographer will capture what is needed. Trust them.

Question

Kids and pets:

Answer

Please refrain from bringing pets, as this could cause utter chaos. Children are allowed to attend, but THE PARENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING THEIR CHILDREN REINED IN AND UNDER CONTROL.

Question

Guest arrival time:

Answer

Please aim to arrive at 1pm EST, as the ceremony will begin at 2pm sharp, and pulling up in the middle of the ceremony is rude.

Question

Parking:

Answer

Parking will be onsite. If your party has a disabled who uses a wheelchair, please contact the go-to people, and they will direct you to a safe parking place.

Question

hotels for travelers:

Answer

The couple is not responsible for providing accommodations for those traveling a far distance. Please plan accordingly for yourselves.

Question

What to wear:

Answer

Dress casually and comfortably. Just remember you may be in photos. This wedding will be held outdoors, so be prepared for the weather forecasted.

Question

Food:

Answer

Vendors: Melissa McIntosh and Carolyn Lawless On the menu: pizza (meaty, pepperoni, veggie, cheese) and salad (caesar style) Dessert: Cupcakes (choc, vanilla and strawberry) If you have allergy concerns, please contact the bride or listed vendors

Question

Wedding gifts:

Answer

The couple would prefer contribution toward their honeymoon (registry tab) instead of gifts, but if you insist on bringing a physical item to the wedding venue, the VIP's other than the bride and groom will be available to accept it.

Question

Lost and found:

Answer

If you find something unattended, please give it to one of the VIP's other than the bride and groom. If you lost something important, they might have it put away for you.

Question

Wedding colors:

Answer

Simply don't wear white. You know the rules.
