We were just sophomores in high school when we first met, and we were even locker buddies! We attended a small high school, so everyone got to know each other pretty quickly. Zac and I both loved running track, and we ended up running on the same club track team outside of school which made us even closer and attended senior year homecoming dance together. We have always been good friends, and in 2019, we decided to give dating a shot. Now, here we are!

Zac and I had planned a trip to Clearwater, Florida in November to get away from the cold weather. After leaving bright and early, we were exhausted by the time we landed, but we couldn't pass up going to the beach. When we arrived at the beach, Zac asked if I wanted a picture. Not thinking anything of it, I said, "Yes”. He then ran ahead of me to grab some ladies he saw walking. I was confused and tried to keep up with him, but that didn't happen. He then told the ladies, “I'm proposing to my girlfriend, will you record it?” They were filled with so much excitement, but somehow I still didn't catch on and notice what was about to happen. After standing for the picture, suddenly there he was down on one knee. I was shocked and didn't know how to react, but it was the happiest moment of my life. Of course, I said, "YES!"
