Tanner and I met at Runnells Christian Church on Christmas Eve in 2015. He spent most of the service awkwardly staring at Kaitlyn (from the front row) and making her very uncomfortable. Seconds after leaving church, he slid into her DMs on Instagram and said, “Are you the girl from church?” Naturally, Kaitlyn was weirded out… until Tanner explained that he knew her neighbor, who happened to be her best friend at the time. Slightly less creepy. For some reason, she still agreed to go on a first date to Applebee’s and against all odds… the rest is history!
