Spencer and Katie met their freshman year at Sonoma State University while dining at the school cafe. After a mutual friend introduced them, Spencer asked Katie out on their first date. On January 12, 2014 Spencer made things official by asking Katie to be his girlfriend, right in front of the spot where they first met. Four years of amazing memories were made together and after graduating in 2017, the two of them moved back to Sacramento adding one more member to the family, their mini poodle named Poppy! Just a month following celebrating their seven year anniversary, Spencer popped the question on February 27th, 2021 overlooking gorgeous vineyards at Domaine Carneros winery in Napa, CA.
