The story of Kaitlyn and Patrick all began with a "like". Kaitlyn was living in Philly and Patrick was living in North Jersey with hopes of moving back to South Jersey. Given the distance between them both, they decided to go on a date just to see where things would go. They had their first date at Luna’s in Vineland on a rainy July night in 2024. They quickly discovered just how much they had in common and got so caught up in getting to know each other, they didn’t realize they had been there for hours and the restaurant was closing. At the end of the night, they both knew this date felt different and could blossom into something special. Over the next year, Kaitlyn and Patrick went on numerous dates and trips doing things that each other liked. It ranged from Kaitlyn introducing Patrick to hiking in Upstate New York and showing him what it really means to be a diehard Philly sports fan to Patrick (aka "Disney guy") taking Kaitlyn to Disney World twice and doing escape rooms of various genres and skill levels. They both quickly recognized that they had discovered their life partner. In July 2025, Kaitlyn and Patrick planned a trip to Banff National Park in Canada that had always been on Kaitlyn's bucket list. After a long week of hiking breathtaking landscapes they decided to spend the last couple days at the Fairmount Chateau on Lake Louise. After dinner at the hotel, Patrick lead Kaitlyn back to the room for a surprise that would forever alter both of their lives. In the room was a trail of candles and roses that led Kaitlyn to a letter reminding her of how important she was to him and how he could never see his life without her in it. He got down on one knee and through the tears asked her to marry him and she said "YES!". Kaitlyn and Patrick realized that distance is no matter when it comes to real love. We are thrilled to celebrate our love with you and see where this wild ride called marriage takes us.
