Welcome

As we all adapt to an uncertain time with COVID-19 (coronavirus), we are monitoring the news carefully. We are prepared to take every precaution necessary to make our wedding safe for our guests, even if that means postponing it. Our wedding is happening as planned, and we look forward to celebrating with you all on January 10, 2021! Please RSVP and book your accommodations as you normally would, but check first for a lenient cancellation policy, which most hotels and airlines are happy to provide in light of current events. That being said, the safety of our guests is our utmost priority. Please check our website and national and local public health websites regularly for updates. Please contact us directly with any questions – our contact information can be found in the FAQ section of our website. Thank you for your love, patience, and concern.

How we met

"Love" at work

It was the the last day of orientation before I transitioned to night shift. My preceptor, Angela, wanted to introduce me to the person whom I'd be training with for the remaining two weeks of orientation. That's where Michael comes in. Excited to finally meet the guy I've heard so much about, I walked up to introduce myself only to greeted with a scowl and a grunt. Anyone who knows me knows I hate being dismissed and ignored, especially in a professional environment. I left and immediately called my mother to tell her about the smug guy with ridiculous blue croakies and a superiority complex.  And I had to spend the next two weeks with him. We were clearly off to a rocky start. It didn't take long before I realized my first impression couldn't have been further from truth. All it took was two weeks to realize the unique connection we share. So Michael took me out to breakfast to celebrate my last day of orientation. At the end of the date, he walked me to my car in the pouring rain.  He talked about how romantic a first kiss in the rain would be, opened my door and bent down and kissed me--a Ryan Gosling straight out of The Notebook type of kiss--and the rest is history.

For all the days along the way
