What should I wear?

Answer

Dress code is semi-formal. Ceremony will be held outside so we advise you wear shoes that are comfortable for walking through grass.

Where can I find overnight lodging?

Answer

Our wedding venue is about 15 minutes from Farmville, VA where there are several options for overnight stays for a variety of budgets, such as Hotel Weyanoke, Holiday Inn Express, Tru by Hilton, Hampton Inn, and Days Inn. Lynchburg and Richmond are each also about an hour drive to the venue. Lodging can also be found in Appomattox, approximately 45 minutes from the venue. If you are a fan of camping, Twin Lakes State Park has a beautiful campground just minutes from the venue! Airbnb also has some options in the Farmville area if that is more your style.

I have food allergies, will there be food I can eat?

Answer

We are planning a meal that has a variety of choices for those with different dietary needs. If you have any concerns please reach out to us and let us know how we can be sure we have something for you to eat!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we'll bring the beer and wine, you bring the party! There will be a limited number of these drinks available. Guests are welcome to bring their own drinks but we want you to know that children will be in attendance and ask you to be considerate. No alcohol allowed off the premises of the venue. Also keep in mind that the party ends at 10pm, so plan accordingly.
