Mark and Kait's journey dates all the way back to the Summer of 2021. Mark had seen Kait in D'Jais and lucky for him, his best friend Rob just so happened to go to college with Kait. He asked who she was and knew he had to meet her. They had exchanged a few hellos and looks. Then came fourth of July Weekend, when they officially had their first conversation. One (or a few) Deep Eddy’s and waters later, they both knew the connection was there! ♡ Shortly there after, on July 23rd, they had their first date at Pazzo in Red Bank and they still talk about the memories of that first date and the artichoke story to this day (iykyk). On August 8th, 2021, Kait asked Mark "Do you have a question for me?" and that was the day they became official—and of course, that decision was made at none other than Djais on Sunday Funday. We are so excited with how far our journey has come and we can not wait to celebrate becoming "official" official on The Ultimate Sunday Funday - August 9th, 2026!! ♡
