Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this historic business district, once destroyed by a fire in 1889, has been lovingly restored to a charming Victorian downtown, housing more than two dozen locally owned antique and specialty shops and unique eateries. The walking tour takes you back to the 1800s and early 1900s, a time when most of the two-story Italianate and late Victorian commercial buildings along historic 4th Street were constructed. The brick-paved sidewalks and 1800s façade provide a quaint setting for many special events throughout the year.

The Parklands of Jasper is a 75-acre major urban renewal endeavor which turned a private 9-hole golf course and the surrounding woodlands into Indiana’s Natural Destination. The Parklands of Jasper features two miles of walking trails including a multi-purpose path, a walking signature bridge, three ponds all connected by elevated pathways, approximately 25 acres of woods, two water cascades, The Pavilion, a splash pad, an Adventure Play Area, a Tree Fort, and a Musical Playground.
The City of Huntingburg's Bark Park is open year round from dawn to dusk. It is a three-fourths acre, fenced in park, that is located on the north side of Southside Park. This park does not typically provide toys or obstacles, but is a calm and clean place to let your pooch run free and burn off some pent up energy.

Open for the season starting Saturday, June 18th from 7am - 11am and will continue every Saturday through October. The farmers' market is located in the Market Street Park parking lot.
