It was Summer of 2013, a week before the start of Fall Semester at Arizona State University, when two unsuspecting 19 year olds were invited to a District Pool Party (iykyk). They immediately hit it off, unbelievably discovering that they were both from Torrance, went to rival high schools, and even had mutual friends. That semester, they searched for their classes on campus together, partied in typical Sun Devil fashion, and drove back to Torrance together on school breaks. But it wasn’t until the beginning of Spring Semester when Kaity invited Kwyn to her sorority Barn Dance that Kwyn made his move. Kaity swerved him (lol) but Kwyn was adamant he was “Gonna get his kiss.” By March 31, 2014 they were a couple, so he wasn’t wrong. Kaity and Kwyn stayed together throughout the rest of undergrad and continued to navigate post-college life together. They’ve traveled to Europe, Africa, and around the US together, making countless memories and continuing to grow as individuals and as unit. They’ve supported each other through the Police Academy, graduate school, family members passing, raising 2 dogs, and of course, the birth of their first child, Landon. And now, we can’t wait to celebrate the marriage of these two college sweethearts with all the people they love and who have helped them along the way. We hope to see you all there!
