Round 2 with all our friends and family!

In 2018 Kaitlyn’s roommate, Patty, decided to introduce us. Patty knew Kolbe through volleyball at CSU Channel Islands where we both went to college. Somehow Patty knew that we would be a great pair and wanted us to meet. Patty invited us to a group night out at the local bowling alley with some of our friends. If anyone of you know Kaitlyn, then you know she’s always late, so of course she was the last one to show up. In her defense, she did close at work and the security alarm went off… also SURPRISE she had another date planned that night. Kaitlyn rushed after work to her date with someone else and then ended it early so she could meet the person who would become the love of her life. Waiting at the bowling alley with friends was Kolbe, who was definitely not ready for what was about to happen. When Kaitlyn walked in through the doors, Kolbe knew that he had just met someone who would hopefully be his best friend and potentially something more. After their first conversation, Kolbe knew that this was the girl for him. She danced like no one was watching, laughed like no one cared, and has one of the best smiles Kolbe has ever seen. When Kaitlyn walked into the bowling alley and spotted her friends, her eyes went straight to Kolbe. Kaitlyn knew that Patty was trying to set them up to date but would later find out that Kolbe was unaware of Pattys intentions for this meeting. Kolbe knows how to light up a room, even when it is full of people. He was so funny and the conversation was never awkward or dull. Kaitlyn knew that she was in trouble because after one night of knowing Kolbe she could see herself falling for him and fast. She knew that she did not want to date anyone else and wanted to focus solely on him. When you meet your soulmate it’s hard to ignore. The ultimate test was to see how he felt about her… but thankfully we know how this love story goes, considering we are GETTING MARRIED!
