Kaitlyn and Kaleb met in anatomy lab in the fall of 2017. What started as one study session, became became the beginning of their relationship, starting January 2018. Kaitlyn and Kaleb graduated from CSU in May 2019 and pre-gamed grad school during their gap year, with COVID-19. From 2020 to 2021, the two did a year of long distance, while Kaitlyn was in her accelerated nursing program. Kaleb was the dedicated traveler, but his flying era had some perks. Thanks to COVID, there was plenty of leg / elbow room on his cheap flights to Phoenix. In August 2021, they moved into their first apartment together in Denver. Kaitlyn started her career as a new-grad RN at the University of Colorado, while Kaleb continued dental school. After a few years of grinding and growing together, Kaleb graduated, and in August 2024 they moved to Southern Oregon. Kaleb started his first job as a dentist, and seven months later, in March 2025, he proposed. Although they may have already been dating 8 years, Kaleb always knew Kaitlyn was the one.
