Only in fiction do you expect high school sweethearts to fall in love, stay in love and end up together. But we’re here to show you that it actually does happen in real life". (Borresen). In 2010 our friendship began, during our sophomore year of high school. We decided to attend homecoming together as friends, but we soon realized that we wanted to be more than just friends. We went on our first date for Valentine’s Day in 2011. We continued dating during our junior and senior years of high school. In 2013, we started attending different colleges. Our paths grew apart, so we decided to end our relationship, but remained close friends. During this time we grew as individuals and we learned more about each other. In 2016, God brought our relationship back together stronger than ever while attending our church home, Victory World Church. We realized that our relationship had been missing Jesus in the center of it. As we started to pursue Jesus in our lives and our relationship, we started to see our relationship flourish like never before. On June 27, 2018, our lives changed forever,  we got engaged! Now in 2019, we have the honor of standing before God, family, and friends as we become one. This has been a journey filled with prayer, love, challenges, and laughter, but we have conquered every test and trial thrown our way. None of this would have been possible without the love and support of our loved ones and most importantly the one who leads us and holds it all together, God. Now it’s time to start another chapter in our happily ever after!
