Julie and Kaitlyn met 13 years ago, during their freshman year of college as randomly assigned dorm mates. They immediately bonded over pop punk music, similar interests and values. The moment they met, something in them knew they would become best friends. Over the next decade, they would face life's challenges head on, both together and apart. They took a 5 year break in the middle, where they both learned some tough life lessons and grew into new people. They found their way back to each other through a series of random events and mutual friends. What started as a silly kiss in a parking lot in the middle of the night, turned into so much more. That kiss changed their lives. A few months later they took their first vacation together to Asheville, NC. Among the Blue Ridge Mountains was where they fell in love, later got engaged, and now where they will say yes to forever. After 6 years, one home purchase, and a few fur babies later, they look forward to celebrating their love with friends and family on October 17, 2026.
