We met in Dallas, TX during Kaitlyn's first physical therapy clinical through Tinder (an online dating site). Our first date: Henry's ice cream - Jordan's ice cream melted all over the table while we were chatting. Our date continued as we sat in the furniture display outside the local grocery store getting to know each other. Our second date: Church - Kaitlyn told Jordan if he wasn't "creepy" that she would go to church with him the next day (following the ice cream date) and that was followed by Disney movies, snuggles, and homemade spaghetti that Kaitlyn spilled in a blanket after it slid off her plate. The rest is history - after that weekend it's fair to say we both knew we were meant to be and started to brainstorm how we were going to conquer the next 2 years of our long distance relationship. While Kaitlyn was completing her doctorate in Evansville, IN, and Jordan was working in Dallas, TX, we were able to see each other at least every other month and Jordan requested to audit the Evansville location so we could see each other more often. Jordan asked for Kaitlyn's hand in marriage the summer of 2019 and gave her the green light to plan the wedding prior to the proposal. A majority of the wedding was planned that summer and he proposed at the wedding venue with our families and puppy present. We are so excited to continue our journey and thank you so much for making the trip to celebrate with us!
